Floating Grass Fix for Skyrim and Creation Kit

Do you have the Floating Grass bug in interior cells in your game or in your mods? I did. but I figured out how to fix it. It requires some ini tweaks. 1. open your Skyrim.ini in my documents>my games>Skyrim 2. Scroll down until you find the section [Grass] 3. Make sure your file says this (if it doesn't copy and paste this into it) [Grass] bAllowCreateGrass=1 bAllowLoadGrass=0 4. Save and exit that ini file. Next open your SkyrimPrefs.ini 5. Default ini files do not have the above, so scroll down until you come to [Grass] you should see this [Grass] b30GrassVS=0 fGrassStartFadeDistance=7000.0000 fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=7000.0000 fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=0.0000 bAllowLoadGrass=0 6. add this at the end bAllowCreateGrass=1 7. Your SkyrimPrefs.ini should now look like this [Grass] b30GrassVS=0 fGrassStartFadeDistance=7000.0000 fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=7000.0000 fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=0.0000 bAllowLoadGrass=0 bAllowCreateGrass=1 8. (only do this if you are using Creation Kit) open the SkyrimEditior.ini located steam>steamapps>common>Skyrim open the ini file and scroll down until you find [Grass] replace that section with the following [Grass] iMinGrassSize=20 bGrassPointLighting=0 bDrawShaderGrass=1 iGrassDensityEvalSize=2 iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=2 fWaveOffsetRange=1.7500 fGrassWindMagnitudeMax=125.0000 fGrassWindMagnitudeMin=5.0000 fTexturePctThreshold=0.0000 fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=0.0 fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=7000.0 fGrassDefaultStartFadeDistance=3500.0 fGrassFadeRange=1000.0 bAllowCreateGrass=1 bAllowLoadGrass=0 9. Remember any ini file changes REQUIRE the ini to be saved before you close it! This worked for Me. If you are making a house mod I highly suggest you do this or you may find floating grass in your interior cells. It also cures the problem of floating grass if you are landscaping the exterior of your player home. This is a good all round ini tweak that will improve your game as well. this SHOULD also work in Skyrim Special Edition ini files as well.

And if ALL ELSE FAILS
open console (~) and type in TG in the interior cell.
when you leave to the exterior cells remember to do TG again
TG stands for Toggle Grass.
